I think that when looking a the guys the Flames should be trying to move fit with the team is as important as who the guy is.
I think Cammaleri should move, because I think we works vary well in a top 6 role. But he probably would not be effective moving down the line up. Give our Depth of LW prospects, I think organizationally the Flames would be better with a Guy who can play anywhere from the 1st line to the 3rd line that will push Beartschi, Gaudreau, Agostino, or Klimchuck to earn a top 6 spot in the next two years.
Stempniak should go, because out RW position organizationally is too old. One of Hudler, Jones or Stempniak needs to be replaced by a guy in his early 20's that can push for top 6 minutes. And right now you probably can't get enough value out of the other two.
Smith, Butler and SOB should all go, because D are too hard to judge until they are playing against top competition, and Breen, Wotherspoon, Seiloff, and Ramage all need to be tested in the next year or two.
Backlund should go, because some times you need to maximize asset Value. Backlund stock will not be going up, and we already have 2 younger better Centers in the NHL.
And Stajan should stay, because much like Glencross on LW and Hudler/Jones on RW. It is good have one or two Vets around that can play anywhere in your lineup to push guys to win minutes.
