That's a BS excuse as well. One pass by garbage trucks or any traffice and you can go down the alley. This time right after the snow it was tough/impossible to get down the alleys but after a couple days of use and it is fine. And I have never seen tickets on my street for this either....
The snow route is so frustrating, I live on one and most times someone parks in front of my house and then it doesn't get plowed properly even though I moved my vehicle around the corner.
And as for the people that go on holidays and then it snows, if you live on a snow route, make a plan to have someone move your vehicle if a snow route is declared its not like the city has just sprung these new rules on us......
