You trade Stajan, Stempniak, O'Brien and Butler that opens up four spots for younger guys who might be close to making the team. That is enough IMO.

I only mean it would be wise to listen to offers on them, not necessarily trade them. If a killer offer came in for Hudler, way over the odds, it would be silly to hang onto him simply to have a veteran presence. If Hudler gets traded for an awesome return, then it could be possible to keep Stempniak or one of the other vets.
