Jasper used to leave us presents all over the place. Especially when he was excited. But then we got him fixed and it was night and day. He no longer has the urge to mark his territory and now he always goes in his litter box. It's funny sometimes because he'll be in another room and he'll go running at top speed and jump in his box and does his business.
He doesn't like to be picked up but likes to be rubbed on the head and behind the ears.
We haven't had him outside but he gets lots of exercise in the upstairs of the house. We never keep him in his cage. He runs free and he's happy with it and so are we. He usually sleeps during the day either in the corner of our closet, under the bed or in the hallway. At night we close our door because sometimes he likes to sprint around in the middle of the night. If the door isn't latched closed though he'll come up and push it open so that he can have another room to run through in the dark.
