I'm wondering what my options here are going to be. They just shipped my filler item (a toque). It is seeming likely I won't be receiving my jackets, and I would have never purchased this toque except as a filler item as I did.
I'm going to be returning the toque, but I wonder how quick Mark's is going to be to refund the shipping charge. Or should I just refuse the package and/or state I never received it and do a chargeback on my CC?
They know what people were doing here, Mark's is not some new small business. They are a huge player in the Canadian market. They should never have shipped the one small item without notifying customers and inquirying if they want the order or wish to cancel the whole thing.
No one is going to accept paying the $6.50 shipping charge for a small item that they more than likely do not really want (I think most were ordering one pair of socks or a neck warmer). Mark's is going to lose a lot of money over this mishap of theirs.
This will show up in textbooks years from now as what not to do.
