Klefboom is still adjusting to the NHL sized rinks and hasn't been terrific on the farm. I'd say its wait and see if he's ready and they shouldn't be writing him into the lineup.
Marincin by everything I've read and heard is a question mark, he's not the sure thing that he was last year.
If you put these guys in the NHL next year in a sink or swim type of thing you'll probably wreck two out of three of them. Especially with Eakins coaching there.

I never said I thought it was a good idea.
But not only would it not surprise me from that organization, but rumblings have left me with that impression.
Can't remember exact sources or quotes, but my impression is that they think Klefbom is pretty much ready and they actually thought that Nurse almost made the team last year and if I recall, MacT said something to the effect of 'he's very close' or something like that.
Again, I agree that it would be a massive mistake - rushing defensemen ruins them more often than not - but it's the Oilers, it's what they do.
