This was my first time seeing them live, I dont go to alot of concerts so here was my take.

The general setlist - I probably enjoyed about 60% of it. I am not a huge fan when the "noise" overtakes the lyrics. Maybe its just me but I had a hard hearing the lyrics. Also I was a bit annoyed at the lighting how it made it very difficult to see them (say compared to the Eagles concert in September at the Dome). I was probably standing for about 40%

Was it creepy to anyone else that the lead guitarist looked a bit like a zombie when they were doing the closeup of him durring one of the songs, he was playing with his eyes closed leaning back and swaying - great but weird.

Encores made the show for me.

First encrore was fantastic - standing up for about 80%
Second encore was equally great - didnt sit at all (mostly cause of music but some because of people in front were standing), Fn up was fantastic. I am thankfull to see that I didnt leave to early (only missed 1 song, the wife was feeling very sick from the weed and nicotine smell in section 222) she left the seats about 10 minutes earlier than I did and I decided that after Fn up I would join her else my 3 month marriage might end quicker than anticipated. The good thing is it allowed us to get home earlier so I got 5.5 hours of sleep for work today

I can live with the weed smell but when someone starts lighting up cigarettes mid way through the first set and doesnt stop then it starts to get annoying quick. And the Dome "security guards" wont do much. I dont care if you want to smoke weed, its a rock concert I get it, but take that filthy nicotine smell home.

Also a note to parents, dont bring your poser teen daughter and her friend to the concert if all they are going to do is blab to each other durring the songs. Ive restrained myself previously but last night I just couldnt take it anymore - Dome security talked to them and it shut them up for about 5 minutes then it started again so I had to tell them to shut the fk up.

I do hope they are back in the summer, my 2 cousins tried to make it down from Edmonton at noon and turned around at Leduc. Tried Red Arrow but they cancelled all their bus service - even checked with Air Canada but 800 round trip per person seemed a bit steep - I dont blame them. Normally we dont do Christmas gifts but I bought each of them a Tshirt since they wernt able to come.
