First off, as I said in an earlier post, I can see what Poirier was left off when he was competing against the likes of Horvat, Laughton, Gauthier, and Lazar for a similar role.
As for why Brent might have a grudge with the Flames? He could be petty, like me ;p If I were him, I'd be pissed that my NHL coaching career seems to have been completely de-railed by a team that would not do the right thing, which was rebuild. Brent clearly saw things differently from Feaster and management, i'm sure there's an article on it, and that's why he was not hired back. It must also piss him off that, less than a year after that, the team did go with the rebuild that he wanted.
Also, can you elaborate on why Lowry has a hate on for the Flames? That's really interesting.
