If Scott Parker couldn't fight, then he was pretty damn useless. That might be sad, but it was the truth. I'm not saying that it was right for Hartley to make him fight even if he wasn't healthy (if that is indeed what happened), but he was no good to the team otherwise and would obviously lose his job. That's the case with every fringe player, whether they are fighters or not. If you can't do your job, another one will come in and do it for you, hence why a lot of them play injured. It's not the coach forcing it as much as it is reality.
