I still don't get it. I like to think I know how these things work. So...I feel dumb asking.

So, I would plug my PS4 (once I get it) TV, Blu-Ray, etc into the sound-bar, via HDMI? Then the sound-bar into the TV? How does that work?

I'm confused.
