It feels like that battle should of been used as Season 3's finale. Hershel going down the way he did, Michonne getting her vengeance and the way Rick and Carl broke down really would of hit home for a season finale. I have a hard time believing that the Governors new "crew" would be willing to fight and kill the people they have no emotional involvement over what happened in Woodbury while the actual people from Woodbury, who lost people while fighting the "evil mean prison crew" would completely wimp out. Very puzzling route the writers took.

Regardless, it was easily the best episode of the season (that's really not saying much), it had lots of tension and some great shock value, but there was even more plot holes created from it, much like Season 4 in general.

I really hope the writers get a solid story going now that the Governor page has finally turned because this season has been downright painful to watch for the most part
