Thats right. Even if you go and talk to the prosecuter and get fine lowered or no demerits taken, you will still have a conviction against your record, and eventually, when the insurance company decides to run your record they see it, and increase rates, like cowboy said, based on a point system. So if you get a ticket, and renew your insurance, wait 10 months, and think your insurance isnt going up...............it is, just wait. Some companys are lazy and dont run people each year, some do it more often, depending on who they are dealing with.

Bottom line is, they're goin get ya!
