That actually is a pretty good record when compared to Stempniak's contribution: 1 pp assist in 7 games and his -12.
The real serious part is that he is bringing down the trade value of his line-mates Stajan and Cammallerri who have gone -7 and -9 in the last 7 games.
Hartley at least has kept him away from playing with the young players that will be on the team next season.

He's been soft(er) on the puck since coming back from injury. A guy with his skill set needs to bring more physicality in order to be a better than average player. I don't believe he's capable of being more physical, which is why he should be moved.
He's an adequate player to fill in the gap while the Flames re-build, but he would never be receiving the minutes he's receiving on another hockey team.
If he could be part of a package to bring in a young second line RW, I would be thrilled.
