I support his right to smoke medical marijuana, it seems to be working for his PTSD. It is prescribed, legal and he does not drive nor handle a firearm while medicated.
My issue is his blatant disregard for respecting the uniform that he represents and has done so for 21 years.
He is legally entitled to do it, by doing so in the red serge is disrespectful and ignorant. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD.
He should keep working, keep smoking and keep petitioning for visibility of PTSD issues, but smoking a joint while wearing a respected uniform is not the way to do it.
