God, I
love posts like this. The kid is what - a month older than Monahan? Still one of the youngest guys in college and he has just made the switch to center at that level. We all knew he was a long-term project and that he probably needs to spend all four years at Providence before turning pro. Now, after a fantastic start to the season including a couple highlight goals, he runs into a bit of a cold streak and all of the sudden he's terrible? You've got to be kidding me. How about we actually have patience for once and let our young guys develop instead of writing them off after they turn 19?
Sure, he probably won't make Team Canada, but that doesn't make him terrible all of a sudden.
