Good job with the Panthers for sure. I think if you're team is in the Howe that you certainly would have faired better in the playoffs as the Gretzky was a very tough conference.

I also wouldn't call the rebuild thing you did at the start of last year a complete waste of time. With the NHL lockout you did manage to get good young players for tremendous value and than were able to flip them for better returns later on. Certainly it didn't help you in the standings, but by the end of the year you had a team that was very much improved. If a GM spends the time and puts in the effort they certainly can improve their team by going through a couple of cycles of trading. Which I think you did in spades, and the results are a very solid hockey team. Hopefully you'll be able to stick around as most of your work is done and you likely won't have to be quite as active next season as you've been in the past. But I certainly can understand if you have other things outside the CPHL to focus your efforts on. If you put your CPHL effort and trading skills to work in the stock market I imagine you'd do quite well!!!
