Some of the guys I can see being linked are Chris Petersen (Boise State), Mike Gundy (Oklahoma State), Kevin Sumlin (Texas A&M), James Franklin (Vanderbilt).

The biggest coaching targets this offseason are going to be:

John Harbaugh (if the rumors are true)
Art Briles (who I think is better than Gundy and Sumlin)
Kevin Sumlin (who would scare me a little, what would he be without Manziel?)
Charlie Strong (missed expectations this season)
Chad Morris (OC for Clemson who has Texas ties so A&M might call if Sumlin bolts)
Kirby Smart (would he turn it down if Florida or Texas offered?)
James Franklin (doesn't seem to have the same buzz around him as last year)
Pat Fitzgerald (Probably won't ever leave NWU)
Jerry Gray (probably only a UT target and probably even then their 5-6th choice)
Ed Orgeron (obviously if USC doesn't retain him)
Dave Doeren (has done wonders at NIU)

Dark Horses:
Mike Leach (not for Florida, Texas or USC but possibly a smaller destination)
Gary Andersen (not a big name, but can flat out coach)
Mike McIntyre (same as above)

Slim possibilities:
Gus Malzahn (jumps around a lot, but very few jobs better than Auburn)

I don't see:
Mike Gundy (loves his alma mater and i think he believes he can win a nat'l title there, otoh T Boone didn't pay last time so he might leverage offers into a bigger contract)
Jon Gruden (think he loves broadcasting)
Chris Petersen (has never shown any interest in leaving for any job)
