Naw, that's not how the conversation went down.
moon's point was that Backlund hasn't shown much (if any) top six ability in nearly 200 NHL games.
Of the players you listed, two had shown A TON in the way of top six ability, and the other had only a handful of NHL games before being dealt away. They aren't really comparable to Backlund IMO.
