This is why the vaccination education is difficult. For many parents these diseases have not been known in their lifetimes, so they don't understand the impact. It's by far the most common reason I encounter.
"the risks of not vaccinating are only that my kids gets sick for a bit, and I'm not sure of evil pharma"
