Watched the QMJHL/Russia game the other day, and two players really impressed me, one from each side:
Daniel Audette - Sherbrooke - C/LW - 5'8/177
(Button ranked 69, 25GP, 30P -6)
Played quite tough for his size, really great hands and eye for the puck.
Vladmir Tkachyov - Omsk - LW - 5'9/156
(Button ranked 51, 12GP, 13P +23)
Some pretty impressive speed and a lot of jam, seemed to cause a lot of trouble for the other players with his creativity.
While the Flames seem to have a glut of small forwards at the moment, I'd be happy taking a flyer on either of them with a pick somewhere between a late second and a mid 4th, depending on how they progress over the rest of the season.
