Because of those bad type goals he became the whipping boy of Flames fans. First it was his mother who stopped coming to games and then later it was his father. ST holders were really hard on Mike and his parents couldn't stand the booing he got.
1990 was the Mike Krushelnynski goal. The one he scored on his stomach at the Great Western Forum.
