Of course this isn't factoring in the Steam Box, which seems to be trying to go after both markets. I really hope Valve makes a strong entry to make the console wars a true 3 horse race again after Nintendo went the pure casual gamer route

I don't really understand the argument about "pure gamer" vs "moderate gamer" when it comes to these consoles. Both play games. Is there something specific about the Xbox that plays games less well than the PS4?
