Sven Baertschi had an okay game, the assist and his play on the 4th goal pretty much saved his night. Effort means little if the points aren't there for a guy like Sven. He's a point getter first and foremost in my opinion. Three assists in the last 3 games is fine but 2 losses to Dallas and Edmonton.
I hope he can keep it going here though for the next few games. The team is counting on Sven a lot and he has to be one of the best players every night.

Sven Baertschi easily had his best game of the season. You are implying that the Flames losing makes his point streak useless? The team is not counting on Sven a lot, he's been downplayed this season and plays 2nd-3rd line minutes.
Anything we get from him is bonus as a team should be looking to it's vet's and happy when rookies are chipping in. Baertschi had a good game in all 3 zones, you can't ask much more than that (apart from him to score in the shootout).
