I love this rebuild. This win comes at the perfect time, and you couldn't write a better ending than to have Monahan pop it as the 6th shooter in front of a VERY hostile crowd.
Berra has impressed me in every game. I know there have been some shaky goals, but he reminds me of a lot of our young guys - lots of really encouraging flashes. Once he gets more experience, and is able to play behind a D group that has their leader back, he might be a legit #1.
All that with our best defenseman and best 2 way forward out, and dare I say it... a lock for a lottery pick, with Cammalleri driving up his trade bait value with each game.
Best rebuild ever (so far).
