Totally OT, but I'm heading to south Florida for thanksgiving coming up and this year there is a rare overlap with Chanukkah. Just found out from the folks-in-law that we're headed to Chanukkah on ice at the Florida Panthers game.

The festivities begin with Cantor Yossi Lebovics singing the national anthem before the game. A giant menorah will be lit on the BB&T Center ice during the game’s first intermission followed by a performance by the Maccabeats – a premiere Jewish a capella group.

Apparently this is the 3rd year in a row they have done this. Hockey culture is VERY different down here.
