Well, I have to agree that the anti-Hartley argumentation is starting to get to me too. There does seem to be a growing case that he's acting irrational and singling out players.
I also don't see how the constant line shuffling can do us any good. The lines have no chemistry as a result, and it's not like the players are magically going to get better.
The Blair Jones situation is starting to be a real head scratcher at this point. 6 ft 3 center, 210 lbs, 27 years old, plays a physical two-way game, good in faceoffs (iirc?), scoring nicely and playing with confidence in the AHL. He seems like the perfect guy to insert into the lineup right about now. But no.
Also, Monahan had a really bad stretch there, playing really apprehensively. Not a peep of criticism, no talk of benching.
It's as if Hartley knows that Baertchi is free game for his authority games, but Monahan is untouchable.
And the Jackman lovefest must stop at some point.
