I agree with this comment to a large degree. I know what Hartley has been trying to do; he knows the talent level of this team is pretty shallow so he's trying to whip the best out of what he has & set the expectation of hard work ethic. The problem is by calling out Sven so early in the season he set a dangerous precedent. Where do you go from here; what do you do with him in game 45 or 60? Now he has to bench him every time he falls below that level of expectation which means the kid might get benched for 50% of the season or else Hartley runs the risk of looking two-faced. How do you say a certain level of play is unacceptable & bench worthy in October but it's ok in January?
I think most people realise the ability of 19 or 20 guys playing at that level every night for 82 games is ludicrous & young players especially are going to have some rough nights & make mistakes, I just hope Hartley & Feaster don't ruin this kid inspite of that.
