Good to see that a 21 year old who has 19 points in 41 NHL games is being met with such amazing patience from the fan base....
This thread is ridiculous. He's a project. He's being developed - this takes time. He wasn't a top 5 pick, he was never going to be an instant star. He is showing inconsistency from game to game and shift to shift, but the team and Sven are working together to become better.

Well said!
We should all stop worrying, I know its hard, and enjoy watching some actual prospects with upside grow into part of what will hopefully be a cup contender when all the right pieces come together.
Sven has a 2 game point streak..
I went to the game tonight and he made a few smart defensive plays to help the team gain possession. He did the same in the Dallas game. I notice lately most of his mistakes happen in the offensive zone which will correct itself with confidence.
His defensive game has come along and the coaches praised him for it last game and from what I saw tonight he followed it up so he is starting to be consistent in the way he plays and as soon as he fixes the offensive zone miscues he will flourish.
We also got Monahan, Gaudreau, Gillies, Poirier, Klimchuk, Jankowski etc.to look forward to.
Sven will be a star player. Some of the other prospects have the potential to be too.
Stop worrying so much and enjoy the show.. Its a process.
Our time will come.
