Yup, this is exactly how I see him too.
I think part of the problem with him right now is that having Hudler on the same line as him, makes his role a little bit redundant (though I do understand that he's not a replacement for Hudler yet).
I think that for him to really get going, he (and Monahan) need someone who can really control the play along the boards. Lately, Galiardi and Stempniak have been losing a lot of the board battles and I don't think they are the answer short or long term anyway.
I think that Reinhart is actually the perfect fit for that line right now. It's my guess that, as soon as the Flames brass clear room for him, that this is exactly what will happen.
Reinhart's play last night was excellent and his play along the boards directly resulted in two of the goals. He's the perfect fit for Sven.
