I entered this thread worried that I was going to read about unprofessional comments from Stempniak. Instead I am pleased with the leadership that Mr. Lee Stempniak displayed.

I echo the sentiments of posters wanting the Flames to keep him past this year. The question is, does Lee Stempniak want to be a continued part of the rebuild or does he want to try his luck on a team that has a better chance of making some noise in the playoffs? Can't blame him if he leaves after this year but I sure would like to see him around. He is a veteran that will be helpful to this young team.
