I have a feeling it might be dropped. Going to the UK adds about $150-$180 in extra taxes/fees tht goes to UK government that you don't get going to Ireland. Already a higher cost structure, plus you get the AC gouge for being only carrier hoping over the ocean.
Lower there prices, on a route that has a built in higher cost structure? AC will probably try to find better use out of there plane.
