I'm torn. It goes against my fabric to say it's okay to let a guy run your goalie like that. But, if the Wild's as soft as Yeo evidently thinks, then I can see where he doesn't want them trying to be something they're not. And, of course, they did get even where it counts the most (even though the Buds got a point).
There is a pretty vocal subset of Wild fans that is deriding the team for being so soft, though.

He's right that the most important thing is not to allow yourself to be provoked into losing the game. Positive is that they kept their composure because they were the better team on the ice.
However, when he says that if they respond to Kadri after he runs over the goalie it will create a cycle where they can't keep responding, he's probably wrong. He said that they'll go after someone else if you respond and so on. But you just can't be scared about that. Plainly you can't be afraid what will happen if you defend your teammates. And Kadri felt free to go after Granlund later, so you can equally say that not responding will embolden the opposition to try more stuff like that.
Yeo looked a little flustered when responding to these questions. I don't think the lineup is particularly soft in the forward position but the defense is pretty mild. They might want to add something there before playoffs.
