While I don't disagree with that, I still stand by my statement that Brossoit has as much of a chance at being a number one goalie than Olivier Roy did 2 years ago. Unfortunately Roy hasn't progressed at all in those 2 years, but it's very likely that Brossoit will end up going the same route Roy has been on the past 2 years. The Flames are banking on the fact that Gillies will be a better goalie than Brossoit, so Brossoit's value with us would never have been that high. Think Matt Keetley when he first entered the AHL.
Disagree. Roy doesn't have the same style and size that LB has. And LB was one of our most fit prospects. To me when I watched Roy in junior he was one of those guys who I thought was a good junior goalue but was going to struggle to make the NHL. I think Brossoit is a much better prospect and is a much better prospect than Roy was at his age.

Keetley also was not as highly regarded as LB. His best year was as an overages was it not? Keetley just didn't have the fundamentals as good as Brossoit does.

No reason to equate 3 completely different players and pretend there aren't big differences in their games. The main thing they have in common is they are goalies who played junior. From following prospects I think LB is the best of the bunch as a 20 year old.
