Their record in the next 3 games after the brawl was 1-1-1 so it doesn't look like that did much to inspire them but in the next 3 games starting with the Oilers they are 3-0.
So I think something much more interesting to follow is just how much impact playing the pathetic Oilers had on their play and if that is the turning point of their season. Makes a lot more sense and the numbers sure show it wasn't the Washington game.
