We should trade Backlund... to a team that will give him the opportunity he needs to put it together offensively. He's got a good skill set, good hockey sense, and is a two-way player, yet Sutter let him rot in the bottom6 and Hartley refuses to give him an extended look in the top6.
This kid needs to be either Burke's son or the second coming of Iginla to get quality ice time. It's pathetic.
