Can't see anyway he makes the team unless he improves his play or their are a bunch of injuries. His pretty good start has him still only around 100 in scoring and being outscored by a lot of bubble guys. At this point in his career and on big ice he brings basically nothing defensively although his leadership could be looked at as an asset.
For the guys I have listed I would also put E. Staal, Hall, Benn, Sharp, Seguin as guys definitely ahead of him and probably guys like Lupul, O'Reilly, Marchand, Spezza that he would have to jump as well.
