I don't fault the D for the Flames lifeless 1st 2 periods.
The D and Berra kept us in the game.
Asides from the 3rd period the vetern forwards did not lead by example at all. They coasted, didn't forecheck. They just went from shift to shift mailing it in.
Stempniak you can't blame the dude is coming off a broken foot way ahead of schedule and i think he is still wearing a boot.
But the few veteran forwards Cammy, Stajan, Hudler, Galiardi need to lead the way early in games.
Jones was the only forward i saw digging in the 1st 2 periods.
