^^ I disagree. One scalper who I was talking with at the begining of the season had bought 100 season tickets; just so he could scalp them. Multiply that by a few scalpers, and all of a sudden you see why some fans couldn't buy the tickets they wanted.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; normal market fluctuations do not apply; as unlike most every other consumer good we purchase there is a finite supply of tickets. We can always produce more food; generate more energy, or manufacture more goods. If the Saddledome is sold out; then it's sold out.

I've heard scalpers talking about the routes they take to hit as many Sport Cheks as possible when tickets go on sale. Which means they guy hoping to take his 3 kids to the game and keep it around $100 for a night out is SOL.

It would be one thing if the guys saying "Who's selling tickets"- if they were only buying from the public. Buy them from me at face value and re-sell them for more. It's another thing when then demand that they are supplying is created by them removing the initial supply.
