Trust me, I was irritated to no end after the game on Sunday...but Arsenal needs to figure out an answer for United. They have simply dominated us over the last few seasons, even before the RVP transfer. Not good enough, and a big reason Arsenal hasn't won trophies for a while.

This obviously hasn't broken Arsenal's season, or even rescued United's, but if the gunners want to truly be at the top of the league in the end, they will need to win these games, and be merciless against their biggest rivals. Overall a great week but the United loss reminds us that there is some work to be done.
I'm not angry - I haven't wasted an ounce of breath on him at matches. Just commenting here on what I think.

As for the match - this is one time I don't think it is an attitude thing. We got hit with a bug that affected key players and Arteta and Ozil who did play have subsequently succumbed to it. In a game of fine margins this proved decisive. Had BFG been there, perhaps the ball would not have bounced off Van Persie's shoulder into the net - who knows.

Yeah I wanted this win pretty badly, but I can't be angry and pin it on a team that have come very far in a short space of time.

As for players leaving, I think there has been a seismic shift in the Club's strategy - it now looks we have turned the corner following a period where we undertook the largest capital infrastructure project any soccer team has ever undertaken.

We'll see whether the Club's new transfer policy is the start of something or a false dawn soon enough. But for the first time in many years, I'm optimistic.
