It was certainly a deal worth making for the Flames, but I guess I side on the minority and think more highly of Broissoit than Gillies and Ortio. Time will tell. Berra really isn't a valid comparison since he's older and won't be under team control for too much longer.

I also really liked Brossoit, but I like the other prospects a bit more. Tough to gauge them so early in their careers, but that is how I shake it down. I understand how you can place Brossoit first, however.
I do think Berra is a valid comparison - and even Ramo. Right now without a doubt, they are ahead of Brossoit in the depth department. If either of them prove to be potential long-term solutions, Calgary will act appropriately. It isn't like Calgary will be in a situation where they won't be able to lockup any of their goaltenders to a long-term deal if they wanted to, if there ends up being one that would warrant it.
