Yeah me too.
He has already risen further than I would have guessed, putting up decent points in the A.
It is now realistic to imagine him making the team. I think his progress is a significant factor in making Horak expendable.
They were both competing for similar roles - 2nd/3rd line C or wing. Neither has much of a physical presence, and both are smart, positional, 2-way players.
Granlund has more offensive upside though.
It would be awesome if he can step up to the next level - he's already got the shot, the hockey sense and the shoot-out skills.
