Back when I first saw him live in July, I thought he would develop into a poor mans David Bolland.

Someone that's a reliable 3rd line guy that can put up 40-50 points. His development in Abby is about right for that kind of development path. If a prospect is not putting up big numbers in the AHL, it likely means they are not making the NHL or will as a 4th liner like Bouma.

I don't think that he has the offensive abilities to be a 2nd line C on the whole, but if not he'd be a heck of a 3rd line C.

What I like is that all of Monahan, Jankowski, and Knight are all very good in the faceoff circle.
