The Sony W900A is a great TV - I recommended it to Fire in another thread, you should ask him about it when he receives it. He got it for $1,950, so there are deals to be had.\
EDIT: I also game in regular picture modes - I don't have issues with lag, and have no need to bump it into PC Mode/Game Mode. Only difference I noticed when bumping it into the other modes was that it bumps the picture detail down.
