Late to the party on this one as I was away all weekend but i expected to come to CP and find a total meltdown having traded away Broissot (sp) and, to a lesser degree, Horak, i was surprised by the reactions.
Yes some were unhappy but it seems most are pleased because this make the oilers worse, always a good thing, Smid seems a servicable D man, which we need right now, and both prospects were considered expendable.
I don't know a lot about Smid so interested to see how he fits in now that he has to do proper training sessions.
