Actually, the only thing you can pull out of those comments is that ice time for these young players is likely not being handed out based on results. But rather on willingness to learn, and earn every single second you get on the ice. The coach says nothing about results, and the stats posted in here prove the coach is likely not rewarding or benching his youngsters based on the stat sheet.
