I am not always saying that at all but good job trying to put words in my mouth rather than addressing the actual issue.
And I agree with the majority that this is a good trade so how am taking a contrary position.
The Flames gave up two prospects they may be "buried" as you suggest and they may not be top level prospects but they have value and potential. All I said is that saying the gave up nothing is wrong. Not sure how that makes me contrary and not even sure how that is close to being wrong or something someone would argue.
Giving up nothing would be a 7th round pick or future considerations. The Oilers get two guys that could very well play for the team at some point.
