Throw in the fact that he reportedly showed up to job interviews unprepared to answer questions and acting like he deserved to be handed a job and it isn't him breaking any rules for NHL coaches it is him being a poor candidate.
Ted Nolan is a mediocre coach with a horrible attitude and an entitlement issue. That is what is keeping him from being a coach in the NHL not some BS he broke the NHL rules garbage.

Fine. My point was not to defend Ted Nolan. But rather to support my earlier post that Sven Baertchi may have 'acted unprofessionally' doesn't 'play defence' or maybe complained about a boss or something else that young players aren't supposed to do in the NHL. So he could have all the skill in the world, but because of something he has done someone or some persons will do all in their power to make sure he ends up using that skill in the AHL or back in Europe. Maybe his roster spot will be filled with every plugger available until eventually his is buried in the minors to ride buses and tour the majestic landscape that is central north America in mid-winter....
