If you can't get along with your boss that isn't going against the rules of a coach that is going against the rules of any job. Going behind his back to get him fired is likely to get you fired from almost any job you have and not be desirable to get you rehired. That is not a NHL thing that is a job thing.

Throw in the fact that he reportedly showed up to job interviews unprepared to answer questions and acting like he deserved to be handed a job and it isn't him breaking any rules for NHL coaches it is him being a poor candidate.

Ted Nolan is a mediocre coach with a horrible attitude and an entitlement issue. That is what is keeping him from being a coach in the NHL not some BS he broke the NHL rules garbage.
