Good game by Reto Berra stopping 24 of 27 shots. He made some key saves when it looked like the Blues were going to blow it open. Kept the Flames in the game and even made a comeback.
The defense was good as well with Butler, Billins and O'Brien with assists. They've really pulled together with Giordano out.
The problem has been and still is up front. Tonight, Galiardi, Hudler, and Cammalarri with good games. Backlund was okay as well. I though he should have got some of Colborne's minutes tonight. Joe needs to play with a bit more intensity.
Jay Feaster needs to manage this team better and make some moves. He's called up Reto Berra which is fine and Max Reinhart who had a good game tonight. But those are easy safe moves.
I guess Glencross will be going on IR so that means he can recall another forward. If they're not confident in playing Backlund and scratching Baertschi then they should trade them. You need a guy up front right now that can score. That would have been the difference tonight and the Flames could have got 2 points or 1 at least.
So this loss is on Feaster tonight.
