I think Hartley's going to do what he wants, and Feaster is going to do nothing of substance (if he can even pull the trigger on anything semi-major), and hope that is good enough to keep on Burke's good side.
I expect Burke would want to evaluate the lineup and coaches and hockey ops and the dynamic around everything, probably up until Christmas or the Olympic break to get a big enough sampling of what's going on, and them make changes accordingly.
Until then, Hartley especially, will do what he thinks is the way to handle things and stay true to his feelings on the team concept and as how it relates to individual players, and Feaster's role will be limited to signing the call up requests from Abbotsford.
